We’d love for you to join us!

The Mobile Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) is always looking to connect with people and businesses in the design and construction field.

Each year, we host fun and meaningful events like a historic Mobile architecture tour, a K-5 design contest called Dream Architecture, a fishing trip, social events, a Christmas tree decorating activity for kids at USA Children’s Hospital, and a holiday party. We also award a $2,000 scholarship to an architecture student and support local charities like the American Cancer Society, Penelope House, and Toys for Tots.

We meet every third Thursday from January to November. In 2026, we’re excited to grow even more.

  • Gold Presenter Affiliate Membership

    700$
    Allows affiliate members to reserve one month to present and receive company access to AIA events. Meal cost is $1,040.85 plus $28.27 per guest over 30, paid to the Original Oyster House.
     

  • Silver Presenting Affiliate Membership

    700$
    Allows the affiliate member to reserve a one-hour CEU Day presentation on Sept. 18, 2026, plus company access to AIA events. Affiliate pays $800 for food and venue (paid to AIA Mobile).
     

  • Standard Presenting Affiliate Membership

    500$
    Company access to AIA events. $500 annual membership per individual/organization; $100 per additional member.
